Workshop Description:

The word "networking" can be quite polarizing: some people love it and are game to jump right in, while others become extremely uncomfortable and actively avoid it. Yet, networking is an important aspect of growing your career and/or finding new clients. And it can even be fun!

In this Networking 101 Workshop, attendees will better understand why networking is worth their time, as well as insight into how to tap into their inner networker. Carolyn will walk attendees through the benefits of three types of networking (group events, 1-on-1, and online) and provide strategies for making each work for them, so they can network comfortably and effectively, regardless of their personality type. Finally, learn some of the best post-networking secrets to help stand out during new connections.

Attendees will leave with a better understanding of the benefits of networking and feeling more confident in their own ability to network.
